Ateneo de Davao Grade School Promotions and Alumni Affairs Office (PAAO)

The Promotions and Alumni Affairs Office (PAAO) serves as the strategic arm of the Ateneo de Davao University Grade School for institutional promotion, branding, and alumni engagement. It supports the Grade School’s mission of forming well-rounded, service-oriented Ateneans by developing programs that highlight academic and co-curricular excellence, foster meaningful connections with the community, and sustain enrollment growth through effective marketing and communication strategies.

The PAAO is mandated to plan, implement, and evaluate promotional, marketing, and alumni initiatives that align with the University’s mission, vision, and goals. It ensures that all promotional activities consistently reflect the Atenean identity rooted in faith, excellence, and service, in full adherence to University branding standards.

Functions

  1. Institutional Promotion and Branding

    • Develops and disseminates promotional materials aligned with the Ateneo brand.

    • Plans and executes marketing campaigns across print, digital, radio, and community platforms.

    • Leads creative initiatives such as Discover the Ateneo Way Caravan and Explore Ateneo Program.

  2. Enrollment and Client Engagement

    • Implements strategies to increase student enrollment and strengthen client relationships.

    • Manages programs such as the Online Open House and Classroom Exposure Program, Campus Tours, and Group Visits.

    • Coordinates with other offices to ensure a client-friendly admission and communication process.

    • Manages and updates all social media accounts in Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and this webpage.

  3. Alumni Affairs

    • Maintains a database of Grade School alumni for engagement and communication.

    • Organizes events such as the Grade School Alumni Homecoming and other alumni gatherings.

    • Collaborates with the University Alumni Relations Office to align alumni initiatives.

  4. Community and Partnership Building

    • Builds linkages with feeder schools, parishes, organizations, and local communities.

    • Coordinates school participation in external promotional and community events.

  5. Recruitment and Admission 

    • Increased awareness and visibility of Ateneo de Davao University Grade School in Davao City and neighboring areas.

    • Strengthened relationships with feeder schools and community partners.

    • Consistent annual growth in new enrollees.

    • Improved client satisfaction and streamlined admission experience.

Office Structure

The PAAO is headed by the Promotions and Alumni Affairs Coordinator, who reports directly to the Grade School Headmaster. The Coordinator collaborates with the Assistant Headmasters and leads a Creative Team and Caravan Group, composed of faculty and staff volunteers who assist in promotional campaigns and events.
