At just seven years old, Phoenix Q. Tuason, a Grade 3 pupil from Ateneo de Davao University Grade School, has proven that talent, hard work, and passion can shine brightly on the international stage. Competing in the International Arts Festival Thailand 2024 from October 17 to 20, Phoenix emerged as a standout performer, earning multiple top awards and the admiration of audiences and judges alike.

Her achievements are nothing short of stellar. Phoenix brought home the  Junior Grand Awards for Classical Ballet Solo and Any Genre Solo. She also claimed the Highest Scorer for Age 7 in Classical Ballet and Any Genre Solo, solidifying her position as a young artist of exceptional skill and promise.

Adding to her impressive accolades, Phoenix received Platinum Awards in three categories: Classical Ballet Solo, Any Genre Solo, and Jazz Solo. Each award underscores her versatility and dedication to her craft, whether performing a delicate classical piece or an upbeat jazz routine.

Phoenix’s success goes beyond trophies. Her remarkable performances earned her a Scholarship Grant to the International Arts Festival 2025, paving the way for further opportunities to hone her talent on a global stage. She also received a Participation Grant to the International Arts Festival Singapore Grand Championships 2024, marking another exciting chapter in her budding dance career.
