Last July 3, 2026, the Instructional Media Center (IMC) team visited the Grade 1 classrooms to welcome our young Blue Knights and introduce them to the library, a space where curiosity, imagination, and a love for learning come to life.
During the orientation, the pupils were introduced to the IMC’s services and resources and learned about proper library etiquette. They were also guided on how to care for, borrow, and use books responsibly, helping them develop good habits as young readers and learners.
Through this meaningful introduction, our Grade 1 pupils took their first steps toward becoming confident and responsible library users. More than learning the rules of the library, they were encouraged to discover the joy of reading and the many adventures that can be found within the pages of a book.
The Ateneo de Davao Grade School extends its heartfelt appreciation to the Instructional Media Center team for bringing the library closer to our young learners and for inspiring them to cultivate a lifelong love for reading, learning, and discovery.
