The Ateneo de Davao Grade School Grade 1 pupils gathered at the Grade School Activity Area on June 26, 2026, for a Holy Spirit Prayer Service, entrusting the beginning of their new school year to God and seeking His guidance and blessings for the journey ahead.
Guided by the Campus Ministry Office (CMO), the young Blue Knights took an active role in the celebration as prayer leaders. Their participation allowed them to experience prayer not only as listeners but also as young members of the faith community called to lead, serve, and pray with others.
The CMO carefully facilitated and organized the prayer service, while the Grade 1 teachers supported the pupils throughout the celebration, helping them participate with reverence, attentiveness, and joyful hearts.
The prayer service offered the pupils a meaningful opportunity to begin their Ateneo journey with a deeper awareness of God’s presence. It reminded them that as they grow in knowledge and skills, they are also called to grow in faith, compassion, courage, and service.
As our young Blue Knights continue their journey through the school year, may the Holy Spirit guide their hearts and minds, inspire them to learn with joy, and strengthen them to become loving and faithful members of the Ateneo community.
May the Holy Spirit continue to fill our young learners with wisdom, faith, and a heart for service as they grow in learning and in God’s love.
