The Ateneo de Davao Grade School continues to strengthen its commitment to the safety and well-being of the school community through proactive disaster preparedness and risk reduction initiatives.

The Grade School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Team (DRRMT) conducted a Capacity Building on Earthquake Preparedness for administrators, faculty, and staff. The session aimed to enhance the community’s knowledge and readiness in responding to potential seismic emergencies.

Mr. Ronel S. Golloso and Mr. Roger Gamboa led the session, guiding participants through essential earthquake preparedness protocols, emergency response procedures, and safety measures. The discussion emphasized the importance of knowing what to do before, during, and after an earthquake and of working together to ensure an organized and effective response during emergencies.

The capacity-building activity reflects the Grade School’s continuing efforts to equip its personnel with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to respond to disasters and protect the members of the school community.

Through continuous training and preparedness initiatives, the Ateneo de Davao Grade School remains committed to cultivating a culture of preparedness, resilience, vigilance, and shared responsibility, helping create a safer environment where every member of the community is ready to act when it matters most.
