The second day of the Beginning of the School Year (BOSY) activities for School Year 2026–2027 continued to bring the Ateneo de Davao Grade School community together as pupils and families became more familiar with their new learning environment.
The day began at 7:00 a.m. Daily Mass at the St. Stanislaus Kostka Chapel brought members of the community together in prayer and thanksgiving as the school year continued its meaningful start.
Parents accompanied their children to their classrooms, providing encouragement and support as pupils settled further into their routines. Families also had the opportunity to visit the campus photobooths, capturing special moments and creating memories to mark the beginning of another school year.
In the classrooms, pupils continued their homeroom orientation sessions, helping them get to know their teachers and classmates and become familiar with classroom routines, expectations, and important guidelines for the year ahead. These activities helped create a welcoming atmosphere where pupils could feel comfortable, connected, and ready to learn.
Throughout the morning, teachers, staff, and support personnel assisted pupils during dismissal, helping ensure a safe and orderly departure from campus. Meanwhile, the Student Services Display at the GS Colonnade remained open, giving pupils and parents an opportunity to learn more about the various offices, programs, and services available to support them throughout the school year.
Day 2 reflected the importance of community in the Ateneo journey—where pupils are welcomed, families are supported, and every member of the school community works together to create a positive and meaningful start to the academic year.
The Ateneo de Davao Grade School extends its gratitude to our parents, pupils, faculty, staff, and partners for their cooperation and support in making the opening days of School Year 2026–2027 a warm, organized, and memorable experience for our Blue Knights.
Together, we continue to begin, belong, and grow in the Ateneo way.
