Davao City, Philippines – Ateneo de Davao University – Grade School (ADDU-GS) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for School Year 2025–2026 under an Open Admission Policy. This means that the Grade School Unit is open to all eligible applicants who meet the age and readiness requirements, with no entrance examination required.

This policy applies to both the Preschool program—which includes Playschool, Nursery, and Kindergarten—and the Grade School program from Grades 1 to 6. In lieu of a traditional academic entrance test, applicants will undergo a basic readiness interview. This step is designed to help the school understand the child’s developmental stage and ensure appropriate support during their transition into the Ateneo learning environment.

The specific age requirements for the Preschool levels are as follows:

  • Playschool: 3 years old by August 31, 2025

  • Nursery: 4 years old by August 31, 2025

  • Kindergarten: 5 years old by August 31, 2025

In line with the university’s commitment to offering flexible and inclusive learning opportunities, the Fully Online Program (Flexible Learning Modality) is also available for learners entering Grades 4, 5, and 6 who reside in the Philippines.
