August 1, 2024, Davao City – The Ateneo de Davao University Grade School Unit held its Pupils’ General Assembly today, beginning at 7:40 AM. The event, attended by pupils, faculty, and staff, featured a series of significant activities and announcements.
The assembly began with preliminaries, which included the Morning Offering, the singing of the National Anthem, and the recitation of the Panatang Makabayan and Panunumpa sa Watawat. This was followed by the reading of the school’s Vision-Mission, all led by the Student Council Officers.
The Headmaster’s Time by Ms. Annierose V. Villarba, Ed. D., who addressed the pupils with an inspiring message.
Ms. Glynes Jean V. Ibanez, the Assistant Headmaster for Administration, introduced the Grade School personnel, welcoming both new and returning faculty members and staff.
A significant part of the assembly was the opening of Buwan ng Wika.
The assembly concluded with the Blue Knight Song, led by a Student Council Officer.
This assembly marks the beginning of an exciting school year filled with activities aimed at nurturing the pupils’ holistic formation.
