Grant-in-Aid (G.I.A.) is the only available scholarship in

the Ateneo de Davao University Grade School.

 


Update of the G.I.A. Application for School Year 2023-2024 :


 

The results for the GRANT-IN-AID (G.I.A.) for SY 2023-2024 have been released via email, gs.aid@addu.edu.ph.

 

Congratulations to all grantees and their parents and official guardians!

To those who received a confirmation email, please visit the Promotions and Alumni Affairs Office (PAAO) for contract signing starting August 7 until September 2, 2023, from 8:00 to 11:30 am and 1:00 to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. 


What is the G.I.A.?

 

 

The G.I.A. or Grant-In-Aid is the only Scholarship Program of the Ateneo de Davao University – Grade School. It extends financial assistance to pupils who are financially challenged and who have the desire to pursue a Jesuit Education at the Ateneo de Davao University-Grade School. 


 

How to apply?

 

 

For the School Year 2023-2024, the application is closed.

The Promotions and Alumni Affairs Office (PAAO) will release a notice via email and social media post when the application form will be ready for distribution. Usually the form is available at Gate 4 of the Ateneo de Davao University – Matina campus at Acacia Street, Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City or via online at this web page.

The deadline for submitting the duly accomplished application form and requirements will be stipulated at the application form or will be posted via social media and this web page.

Please note that the GIA staff will check the requirements as you submit them at the PAAO or at the Asst. Headmaster for Formation Office.

Application forms with incomplete requirements will not be accepted.

Please submit the completed application form together with the other supporting documents on or before June 30, 2023. There will be no submission on June 24, 2023.

Guidelines:


  1. Grounds for the cancellation of the scholarship grant. The school reserves the right to revoke/cancel anytime the scholarship granted to a student on the following grounds.
    • Failure to maintain the academic and non-academic requirements set by the GIA Scholarship Program.
    • If the scholar has committed any major offense as defined in the Student Handbook.
    • If the documents submitted to the GIA Committee are found falsified.
    • If parents/guardians has failed to attend Formation sessions/meetings
  1. Parents/guardians of the GIA grantees are required to attend Formation sessions/ meetings.
  1. Starting this school year, grantees can reapply for two more consecutive years from the time he/she is granted the scholarship.
