Grant-in-Aid (G.I.A.) is the only available scholarship in
the Ateneo de Davao University Grade School
for Grades 1-6 pupils.
What is the GIA?
The Grant-In-Aid or GIA is the only scholarship program of the Ateneo de Davao University – Grade School. It extends financial assistance to financially challenged pupils who desire to pursue a Jesuit Education at the Ateneo de Davao University – Grade School.
How to apply?
STEP 1: Fill Out the Application Form
Fill out the ADDU Grade School Grant-In-Aid Application Form, which is available at the Office of the Assistant Headmaster for Administration, G/F Annex A Building, ADDU Matina Campus, Acacia Street, Matina, Davao City. This application form is also downloadable on this page.
STEP 2: Gather and Prepare the Requirements

STEP 3: Submit Before the Deadline
Submit the duly accomplished ADDU GS GIA Application Form along with the other requirements to the Office of the Assistant Headmaster for Administration at the G/F Annex A Building from 21 April 2025 to 19 May 2025. Please note that an incomplete form and requirements will not be accepted.
STEP 4: Await for the schedule of the interview
The interview of the parents/guardians of applicants will be on Saturday, 24 May 2025 from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM at the GS Conference Room

GUIDELINES
- Grounds for the cancellation of the scholarship grant. The school reserves the right to revoke/cancel any time the scholarship granted to a student on the following grounds.
- Failure to maintain the academic and non-academic requirements set by the GIA Scholarship Program.
- If the scholar has committed any major offense as defined in the Student Handbook.
- If the documents submitted to the GIA Committee are found falsified.
- If parents/guardians has failed to attend Formation sessions/meetings
- Parents/guardians of the GIA grantees are required to attend Formation sessions/meetings.
- Starting the school year 2023-2024, grantees can reapply for three more consecutive years from the time he/she is granted the scholarship.
