Grant-in-Aid (G.I.A.) is the only available scholarship in

the Ateneo de Davao University Grade School

for Grades 1-6 pupils.

 


What is the GIA?

 

The Grant-In-Aid or GIA is the only Ateneo de Davao University – Grade School Scholarship Program. It extends financial assistance to financially challenged pupils who desire to pursue a Jesuit Education at the Ateneo de Davao University-Grade School. 


 

How to apply?

 

For the School Year 2025-2026, the application will start by May 2025.

The Office of the Assistant Headmaster for Administration released a notice at Gate 4 that the GIA application forms are available. Usually, the form is available at Gate 4 of the Ateneo de Davao University – Matina campus at Acacia Street, Juna Subdivision, Matina, Davao City, or online at this web page.

The deadline for submitting the duly accomplished application form and requirements is June 2025.

Please note that the GIA staff will check the requirements as you submit them at the PAAO or at the Asst. Headmaster for Formation Office.

Application forms with incomplete requirements will not be accepted.

Please submit the completed application form together with the other supporting documents by June 2025

Guidelines:


  1. Grounds for the cancellation of the scholarship grant. The school reserves the right to revoke/cancel anytime the scholarship granted to a student on the following grounds.
    • Failure to maintain the academic and non-academic requirements set by the GIA Scholarship Program.
    • If the scholar has committed any major offense as defined in the Student Handbook.
    • If the documents submitted to the GIA Committee are found falsified.
    • If parents/guardians has failed to attend Formation sessions/meetings
  1. Parents/guardians of the GIA grantees are required to attend Formation sessions/ meetings.
  1. Starting this school year, grantees can reapply for two more consecutive years from the time he/she is granted the scholarship.
