Fellow Ateneo schools gathered for a day of learning, collaboration, and exchange of best practices.

On April 15, 2025, Ateneo de Davao University – Grade School warmly welcomed 46 faculty and staff members from Ateneo de Zamboanga University – Grade School (ADZU-GS) for a meaningful Benchmarking and Promotion Visit.

The visit began with a short registration and opening program held at AVR 4, led by Teacher Jenny Amaneo, who opened the day with a prayer. Guests and hosts exchanged introductions to foster a warm and collaborative atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the day was the campus tour, guided by selected ADDU faculty. The visitors were divided into four groups and toured around key facilities such as Annexes A and B, the Fr. Martinez Sports Complex, the Swimming Pool, Grade School and Preschool buildings, both GS and PS Libraries, the Chapel, Botanical Garden, Playground, and Activity Areas.

This was followed by an engaging conversation session—the heart of the benchmarking initiative—to exchange insights on their preparations for the  PAASCU accreditation visit. Participants also discussed its impact on curriculum, instruction, assessment, and overall operations.

The session also explored best practices in curriculum development, teaching strategies, student engagement, and accreditation readiness, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence among Jesuit institutions.

The morning ended with a simple lunch at the PAASCU Room for those who joined the conversation session. This benchmarking visit deepened the connection between the two Ateneo communities and reaffirmed their shared commitment to educational excellence, formation, and service.

💙 One in mission, one in purpose—we continue to grow as one Ateneo.
